What is Smart Tutor?
A study plan built specifically for YOUR course
Smart Tutor is an AI-powered personal study agent that replaces generic study advice with a plan built specifically for YOUR accounting course. Unlike a fixed curriculum, Smart Tutor reads your actual course syllabus, maps your professor's weekly topics to the right chapters and exercises on iLove-Accounting.com, and creates a study schedule you can actually follow — synced to your real class timeline.
It continuously monitors your exercise scores and adjusts what you practice. If you're struggling with T-accounts, you get more T-account practice. If you're acing journal entries, it moves you to harder problems. When your midterm is approaching, it automatically switches into exam prep mode so you're never caught off guard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to upload my syllabus?
No — you can enter your course details manually. However, uploading or pasting your syllabus gives Smart Tutor much more context and results in a much more personalized plan. Even a rough syllabus with just your exam dates is enough to get started.
What if my professor changes the schedule?
Just go back to the Setup tab and update your syllabus or event dates. Click 'Generate My Study Plan' again and Smart Tutor will rebuild your plan around the new schedule.
Does Smart Tutor replace practicing on iLove-Accounting.com?
Smart Tutor enhances your practice — it tells you WHAT to practice and WHEN, then your regular practice on the platform fills in your scores. The more you practice, the more accurately Smart Tutor can adapt your plan.
How accurate is the AI at reading my syllabus?
Very accurate for standard accounting course syllabi. It correctly identifies weekly topics, exam dates, and homework deadlines in most cases. You can always review and edit the extracted information in the Setup tab before generating your plan.
Will I get emails even on weekends?
By default, yes — but weekend study tasks are much lighter (15–30 minutes max). You can set your reminder time preferences in Setup.
What happens if I miss a day?
Smart Tutor doesn't penalize missed days. It recalibrates and adjusts your upcoming schedule to make up for any gaps, with priority given to exam-critical topics.
Can I use Smart Tutor for multiple courses?
Currently Smart Tutor supports one course at a time. This is because the daily study load is calibrated for a single course. Support for multiple courses is on our roadmap.
